Mardol Head

Shrewsbury makes a huge effort every year to make sure the town is a floral extravaganza. They plant 300,000 flowers all around the town, in the parks and on all the roundabouts coming into Shrewsbury. They enter the Britain in Bloom competition each year and have won on many occasions. For some reason, they are not entering this year. Maybe it is to give our gardeners a rest. Every one of the 300,000 plants are grown in the council greenhouses.
