Balloon Above The Eden

The floating platform upon which a grand vista is found, flies south past Great Dunn Fell and towards Upper Eden. One of the greatest places to see the valley is from where I took this picture; Helton and Askham fell which lies on the border of the Eastern lakes.

Black and white processing is much to be adored when you've started to make the image on a hazy day with little directional light, these conditions make for a canvas on which certain contrast and colour channels become a lot more accessible for monochrome conversion.
