Six-spot Burnet Moth

Spotted this in the wildflower meadow in the wood this morning. It’s a couple of years since I’ve seen one. Terrific bold colours.
Our walk was good and quiet. We didn’t see another soul. No trips today, I’m happy to say.
Came home and read for ages. In the afternoon I went along to Mitch’s for a wee while.
