Gone Fishing - Worsbrough Dam

An hour out to visit Worsbrough Reservoir.  I got chatting to a lovely woman and her dog who was waiting for a friend.  By the time I got to the big they'd joined me, as had a Countryside Volunteer who had been cutting the grass.  He was telling us about the flow pipe from the reservoir which comes out where the heron is sitting. Apparently small fish from the reservoir are often seen there - so a heron's take-away.

I love the shapes formed by the concrete dam.

My morning phone call was to the DHSS - apparently the Registrar had already notified them about Phil's death, but good to know and one less thing to think about.
