Refurbishment

The school theatre has been a bit of a mess for a number of years. Mostly because of the flooding that has been the norm for a long time because the drainage behind the hall is almost nonexistent because of poor maintenance.

Sadly the beautiful old parquet flooring has been ripped out in preference to the newly laid tiles.

Progress? Maybe, but if the property had been properly looked after, this wouldn’t have been necessary.

It’s so sad to see historically relevant buildings being messed with like this.
