Escapism

After yesterdays disappointment woke up feeling a bit jaded, couldn’t face done early morning packing, so didn’t do that much.

Got myself ready for a lunch date with my sis and a couple of close friend’s then loaded up the car, my case and toiletries to take to C’s as usual, a cool box with stuff that needed to be used up, water, coke, wine, Prosecco…… I’d been clearing out my wine cooler lol, clothes on hangers, flattened cardboard boxes for C’s & his daughters forthcoming move to a larger property at the end of August….. yes I know, more moving!!!

Lunch was heavenly, we had a fabulous cocktail, a spiced rum, coconut & lime daiquiri, a lovely catch up….. you can see “the man” making our cocktails in todays blip :-)

The drive to Lincoln later was reasonably easy, happy to see C as always, happy to get away from all the packing crates & boxes lol
