But, then again . . . . .

The Eastfield.

To the best of my recollection, for the last 69 years The Eastfield has had a boring, text only, inn sign. It has now been closed for nearly six weeks while undergoing refurbishment, and is advertising that it will be re-opening shortly "under the same management." I take it that that's it's gimmick.
While this sign may not be the most imaginative (and the trees are a funny shape) I have to admit that it's a great improvement.

They are heavily promoting their refurbished skittle alley and, (drum roll please) a new dartboard.
What more could one want?
I know, how about jazz evenings featuring local talent?
Yup, that's what's on offer, it's on their website, with a photograph of "Satchmo" to support their claim?

The Old Lady's been living next door to the place for over thirty years, this could just be the attraction to finally get us in there.
