Grinding maize

I took this at the Benito Juarez Mercado, what an old procedure and a very old part of the Mexican culture.  The markets in Mexico are pretty fascinating although my favorites so far are located in the cities of Guanajuato and also the one in Guadalajara.  

The extra was just a bit ago, a nice storm blew in with thunder and rain.  I love that I can see the sea from my balcony and even better in the early morning I can hear the waves crashing.
