Niece

I have many nieces and made the mistake once of declaring a singular niece to be "Niece of the Day."  Initially, the title was easily awarded to the niece who had the special occasion--birthday, graduation, performance, etc.  But then there were more controversial occasions. Who is niece of the day for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter?  A burden of my own making!  Pictured is my oldest niece, a frequent winner and absolute sweetheart.
