Time has come

Today I got a call from Northwest Kidney Center to let me know that there is a dialysis spot available for me and I will start on Tuesday.  I thought I'd have more lead-in time to get used to the idea, so I was pretty shocked.  In terms of logistics, I got what I wanted - a Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday slot and not at 5AM (actually11:45 until 3:45) and at the closest dialysis clinic to my home.  Fortunately Lex and I will be meeting with the renal dietitian tomorrow morning.

Lex picked me up from my EPO shot and took me back to her house for some tea and comforting.  These hydrangea are in her back garden next to the patio.
