Back in Auckland

This is a very late posting.

We slept well last night and spent the morning trying to organise various things to do with our move to Oamaru, e.g. electricity connection, gas supply (for the hot water), broadband.  We were partially successful.

In the afternoon we visited our dentist, who gave us a recommendation for a dentist in Dunedin, which was very helpful.  Then we had coffee with a friend, after which we drove into Newmarket to meet another friend for a drink.  She has a friend in Oamaru who is looking forward to meeting us and will show us where to get the best coffee.  We then drove to Parnell to have dinner at Oh Calcutta with my gorgeous daughter and son-in-law, which was most enjoyable and great fun.
