Falkland Palace

Had to make a trip to Kirkcaldy in Fife this morning to collect a new patio table and chairs that I'd ordered online. That's the thing about having a posh new patio - it shows up all the old paint-peeling furniture that was quite acceptable before! I spent an hour or so putting it all together as my husband was busy elsewhere and we enjoyed a lovely meal outside again this evening, sitting in the last of the glorious sunshine we'd had all afternoon.

On the way home, we passed through Falkland and made a detour thinking we might stop for a cup of tea. However, the whole town was heaving with tourists, so I took a quick blip of the Palace and we continued on our way. Shame about the road sign right in front of it, which couldn't be avoided from any angle:-)
