Adventure!

Did my hair then over to M&S to buy P’s mini meals that he likes, and stopped in for coffee and a chat with K. She was making aloo parathas so I watched and chatted till it was time for her to go and collect A and Otis (who’s nearly 1!)
I drove down to P’s and we watched some Wimbledon on catch up and talked about some things he wants done. Good news that they are finally paying him today for the lost hearing aid from his hospital stay in May…he’s needed that money since they were very expensive.
Left him with the women’s semi final match to watch and drove down to Mt&H’s just in time to collect the kids from school. We got absolutely soaked on the way down there…sudden burst of heavy rain! Where’s the summer gone?!
We played and talked and did some colouring until tea time and I made them cheesy noo-noos (staple dish!) then got us some of the Dishoom copies from M&S for our supper before Mt&H went out to the cinema to see the new Indiana Jones film. AR got her whip that plays the theme tune from the original films and charged around the house and garden being Indiana himself. Read them both stories at bedtime and let Mx chatter on about moles, beards, going bald and PE (nothing if not eclectic that boy!) then I came downstairs for tea and some TV whilst I could hear AR still squirrelling around in her bedroom no doubt drawing and writing stories and reorganising her treasures!
