My Breakfast View

This is the view I see from my seat at the table. The quality of light is quite bright, although most of the light is provided through the stain glass windows.

The time is 7:09 a.m, and the light should be strong sunlight. Apparently this is not to be and cloudy skies are forecast for the foreseeable future, about fourteen days. Temperatures will be below 20C and rain may fall or perhaps not.

Not the sort of weather for July.

Of course, the weather is making new records all over the globe and some areas are very unpleasant to be in. That cannot be said of our weather.

Preparations continue for the arrival of the California Golden Girls. Their visit to Scotland promises to be memorable in many ways.
