Had a fun afternoon, finished work a little bit earlier than usual then got on the bike to Rigside where the local nursery was having a 'fun afternoon' for the local kids and the guys I'm hoping to volunteer for were putting on some activities.  I learnt about the cheap messy play and met some of the 'family' workers, then hung out with the active travel team,  who had bikes that the kids could ride around the grounds.  It really is amazing just how long kids can entertain themselves with bikes when they have somewhere safe to ride. 

The last riders came in just before the downpour, and we got a bit wet putting the bikes back in the van, but the weather stayed dry for the cycle home and it was generally a fun afternoon.  Was strong and didn't get any donuts from the food wagon. Blip is from my route home discovering Douglas Water and not far after a cute barn which does weddings.
