Charlotte potatoes - the same potatoes that last year we didn’t lift until 16 August.

I’ve had a lovely day, catching up with stitching and listening to the Radio 3 Countdown to the First Night of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall - enjoyable and interesting listening. I have only managed to get to the Proms a few times over the years but I love it - quite different to any other music festival or musical venue.

Hopefully we will be there next week. Meanwhile I will be watching the First Night tonight. After we’ve had salmon and newly dug potatoes!
