Tasty Treats

We headed over to Killiekrankie Visitor Centre this afternoon for an afternoon of truffle making, cake eating and song to raise funds for the Pitlochry-Confolen Twinning Group.

The cafe has a resident French ( as in someone from France) pastry chef and it was fun to shown how truffles are made before adding outer layers to our own followed by a selection of very tasty cakes*.

This morning I went swimming (it  was invigorating) with a lovely sense of community and we helped clear some if thr debris the heavy rains had brought from the beach and enjoyed coffee and chat afterwards.

Heading out again shortly - back over to the theatre to see Streetcar Named Desire. Its been getting rave reviews and I'm looking forward to it.

* ….. and yes we did lick our gloves !
