Whee, I can fly!
We are away for a few days and have spent today in Perthshire.
This morning, we visited The Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Reserve, near Dunkeld, to see the wonderful Ospreys which breed here each year. While we were there, the male was on the nest with the two chicks which are currently being fattened up for their long flight to Africa at the end of August/beginning of September, amazing birds!
We had an afternoon visit to Glamis Castle which was interesting although I enjoyed the gardens more than the interior and you are not allowed to take photos inside anyway!
Staying the night in a nice little country inn, dinner beckons!
