Flower Friday

What a treat to have our first yellow tiger lilies open today of all days, Flower Friday :) • The day started out with a glimpse of a mother and baby raccoon leaving the front patio. I stepped outside to get a better view and watched them disappear around the house towards the shed. Mama was in the lead with baby closely following. Just the sweetest! • We purchased more bags of soil to finish off the potatoes, then I mowed the grass anticipating several days of rain • MrsP and I sat on the deck for awhile this afternoon hoping for a hummingbird sighting. I noticed one yesterday after a monthlong drought and relocated the feeder closer to the woods thinking it might be safer for them. Unfortunately it’s now too far away to identify gender. We did see three different visits but it could have been the same one • Cheers for a happy weekend!
