The missing clothes

 
We have had torrential rain all day and plans to go into Edinburgh had to be scrapped. 
 
Instead I went into Stirling with some clothes needing alterations only to discover that my dressmaker of many years standing had “ done a runner.”
 
Many unfortunate customers had garments with her including expensive dresses but now there is no hope of getting them back. All this was told to me by another tailor who said  nobody knows  where she or the clothes have gone.
