The Stag Day...

My brother is getting married in August so this weekend it was a trip down to London for the Stag Day which was brilliantly organised by Dan the best man who is Colin's partner in crime on the DigIt Sound System.

We started out at 0430 in the AM to drive down from Alloa to hit the day running at 12:00. A quick drink in the rather convenient pub next door then off to GoKarting. Racing and London traffic tackling done, back to the pub before we holed up here at The Pineapple where Dan had organised a private room for whiskey tasting which my dad was (willingly I believe) coerced into taking us through four brilliant malts.

I took down a wee extra bottle for the tasting which you can see Colin here taking us through the tasting notes and the 75% reductionist model of Bucky distribution and sales.

After a fair bit of extra drinking, chatting and revelry and we didn't end up back and Karen and Colin's flat and we definitely didn't use the basement and definitely didn't have the DigIt Sound System kicking out top techno tunes until 4 in the morning.

It was a brilliant day and great fun. More or less it all petered out around 20 past 4 so I had to stay up just those 10 extra minutes to make it a full 24 hour run. Magic.
