Rodeo Night.

Rodeo night in Gaines, Michigan. I've been going for several years, and enjoy trying to photograph the various events. 

My favorite event is the women's barrel racing, combining speed, agility, and balance. This was my favorite of the cowgirls, and she cut the 3rd barrel pretty close before heading for home.

I'm only halfway through the 1000 pictures I took, so I just picked this one out, posted it, and am heading for bed at 11:39.

Always a colorful night, but 15 dollars for a hometown rodeo? Yikes!
