To the small screening theatre downstairs in the old Paramount Pictures building to see Jeanne Dielman, 23, quai du commerce, Bruxelles. As we went in I jokingly told the eco-villager that it ran for over 3 hrs, much of it in real time and in b&w. It was colour.

Between first going to the wrong cinema, the film running for 201 minutes and facing a 58-minute wait for her train back to the Central Coast, I doubt she enjoyed it as much as I did.
