Common Chicory

We walked out the end of Hamilton wood this morning and up the field to see if the chicory was flowering. Not so many flowers as last year, but maybe more will come. It’s such a pretty flower.
Catriona popped round when we got home and we arranged to meet for a cuppa and catch-up on Wednesday. Something I will really look forward to.
Well, that was just really scary. An almighty clap of thunder and lightning turned the lights and tv on, and the Wi-Fi off!
My house was once badly hit by lightning, with an incredibly loud bang, frying everything electronic from the washing machine, to tvs, computer, etc. thankfully my home insurance paid out fully.
