A Honey of a Place…

I was riding around the Point yesterday, when I caught the thumbnail portion of this Blip out of the corner of me eye. I had to turn around and see if I saw what I thought I saw. I am very glad I did!

First of all, I have huge respect for anyone who is actively doing something positive for bees, however small. These colourful hives show a love of beekeeping, and that it can be fun and rewarding.

Secondly…in and era of ‘bigger is better’, this tiny cabin screams, ‘LESS IS MORE!’ It can’t be more than 12 sq. meters, plus a small loft that is hidden by the trees. A small footprint…

Lastly, the cherry on top, is the honeypot bird feeder hanging in the tree. Perfection!
