High Summer on England's South West coast
or to put it another way, many shades of grey. Very windy on the coast with gusts approaching 50 mph. The sea here is not particularly rough as it is sheltered by the Cornish coast in the background. Outside of Plymouth Sound I suspect the sea state is somewhat different. Fortunately Daughter SiL and family crossed to France last evening in very good conditions before the storm arrived, not that they would have been bothered by rough seas anyway.
