Village fete..

There is something very comforting about some traditions.. and a village Summer fete is just one of those! ..
We go every year, one of our traditions !!
As is the buying of a plant, a book, bric a brac item that isn’t really needed, but you feel sorry for the seller, and a cup of tea and piece of cake.
Listen politely to the brass band playing in the grandstand and try to win a coconut and a bottle, .
It didn’t feel too summery in the wind and rain!
The marquee with all the exhibits was good a place to shelter!
