Gusty Winds

We set off early for a coffee in Sherborne then shopping at Weymouth so we were able to drive down to Portland Bill. To our surprise, it was really sunny down there and the kite surfers were out in full force !! It really wasn’t what had been forecast although I know in other parts of the country, it was wet and wild . My niece and family were soaked to the skin at the air show at Fairford .

I was disappointed with the result of the Women’s Singles Final at Wimbledon as I’d so wanted ( like many others) to see Ons Jabeur win but sadly her nerves got the better of her again . However, all credit to the unseeded player .
