Jane and Emma arrived yesterday evening to stay for the weekend. They chose a bad one for weather. It rained overnight and today there were some torrential downpours.

Emma (with a little bit of adult help) made a delicious chocolate brownie this morning. The rainfall map showed a dry spell early in the afternoon so as soon as it brightened we headed out and down to the park. Stock Beck was brown and flowing very fast.

Later I went into the loft and passed some things down that I can sort through. I won’t go into the loft now if I’m in the house by myself so it was a good job done.
