Alty Market

Part of the reason for stopping into Altrincham was we’d be able to visit the market on a Saturday. Always one of our favourite places. It was lovely to see two of our favourite market people and them remember us so well. ‘Mrs Dan’ from Dan’s cookies (she did tell us her name once…) and of course lovely Jane who was thrilled to see Kara all grown. One of her kids just moved back from 10 years in America to Yarm of all places (I was born there and lived there for the first 6 months of my life) as the head coach of the rowing club of Yarm school.

Cookies and hugs in hand (plus two coffees from a couple of our favourite places) we headed up the road. Arrived home about 7pm. Everyone is shattered and will hopefully sleep well.
