Weekends

Most days we’re up before the sun, or we stubbornly try to ignore its rising in the hopes of sleeping in. I usually fail and just stare outside at this view.

Tomorrow I leave for 3 weeks. Grand adventure awaits, but I’m going to miss David, and E, my friends, and the pups and kitties. And these peaceful mornings. Will not miss the heat and humidity.
