Best Book ever

After the disappointment, lack of depth and blatant ignoring of the most important parts of history because it wasn't London its good to get on with a better look at the country. Given this today for my birthday and getting stuck straight in. Its a fantastic revue of the past century taken one day per decade per chapter. Stuart Maconie is a fabulous writer and his views on the world are cut from the same cloth as me. I encourage everyone to read this book.

On other notes it was my birthday and we had a great bbq with a few friends around.
