Quickly Blowing South

We sat on this beachfront deck with family and friends this evening waiting for the sunset: we had low expectations since it had been foggy all afternoon. We were fascinated by how quickly the clouds were moving and of course, always changing. The photo shows a calm ocean, a low fog bank, and puffy clouds moving and changing. We never had a colorful sunset and soon the sky was covered with gray clouds. We moved inside; it became quite cold!  We escaped the high temperatures in Portland to a cold evening at the beach. I like it better cold than too hot!
