New York City

I flew up to New York today to get ready for next weeks meetings. It was busy so I avoided the freeway. The New York roads are shockingly bad. Like London it is a centre of so much money which doesn't spend enough on its infrastructure. I know logically thee are thousands of reasons to do with sheer scale, costs associated with closing roads amount of times its dug up, weather etc. But for a driver it is awful as you drop down a three foot wide pothole every 20ft.
