Happy Day

It was raining here in Newquay this morning.... how very dare it while we are on holiday... so we decided Soft Play for the boys was the best idea. They had a great time. Of course.

Sam and I then headed to Morrisons to collect supplies for me to do a Sunday Roast for the whole family.

Aware that DN1 was trying for baby and we were getting close to the time she would find out, Sam thought it would be a nice idea to buy her a pregnancy test kit for the morning. Do we added one to the shop.

I messaged DN1 personally to tell her where I had left it. She had gone to the LeWinnick pub over looking Newquay for a quiet drink with her husband where they saw Kian from West Life!

Back at Sams I started the cooking. My brother Ben and his wide then arrived and we had a chat before the babies arrived back. Hes looking old and told me he was having a few health problems but was too scared to go to the doctors. He got several nagged by his older sister!

DN1 and Spencer then arrived back and she hastily ran up to the bathroom and came back down with a Positive Pregnancy test!! Despite the fact she wasn't going to do one till tomorrow, she had already done one at the pub but it was a cheaper make so showed a very faint line. The one I bought had a digital display and read very Positive! Hugs and shrieks all round (except for my brother who was looking very confused. Hes not a baby person!!!) I was so happy for DN1. A lovely place to find out surrounded by family and when the midwives ask when the 1st day of her last period was to determine dates, she can say it was her wedding day!

Dinner was cold by the time I got to mine as everyone decided they wanted to eat outside as it was sunny now but very windy. Sam didn't have enough cutlery for us all so I ate my dinner with a desert spoon off a small plate. But thats what mums do isn't it!!!

Here are the Chunky Monkeys facetiming Jaspers other Nanny which is a Sunday tradition. Hes looking like Mowgli from Jungle Book with his hair down!
