Oops I clipped it

This is what happens when you only take your phone out and then try and blip on your bike in the rain and wind with the brightness down on your phone.  I totally chopped off the bottom of the Sustrans 100 mile marker.  I'm not sure if the red paint is official or not, but i do like the musical theme (having chopped off the bottom, you can't see the piano keys painted on the bottom on the marker) especially given as its near Coalburn which is home to a brass, pipe and silver band.

We had a wee trip to Douglas on the bikes this morning to get some sausage rolls in preparation for dad coming to stay this evening.  The chief baker said we were lazy for stopping so early in our trip, before I explained that the bakery was the purpose for the trip, he still felt we could've gone further though!  All in good humour.  Caught up at the bike shop next door and topped up on puncture kits and tyre levers whilst chatting about the upcoming UCI event.  Good people in a wee village.

Nice to catch up with dad this evening too!
