First Summit

Bj was hiking and Mace and I took a bit of a walk from the parking lot. Once out on the road (single lane dirt road), I found this sign. Laughed at myself for thinking how proud I was that I, also, reached the summit.

The weather turned around noon and unfortunately BJ was caught in the scattering of rain showers during his descent. We returned back to the campground for the evening. Pizzas on the Blackstone while we were serenaded by an Elvis impersonator performing at the campground.
