Sing, sing, sing, sing

The birdsong is not quite as loud as during the breeding season and their songs change during the season. This sparrow was chirping away right in front of me.
The rain and thunder started just before 2pm , just as the woman’s tennis final was about to get underway. We had to up plug the TV as the lightning was very close. Managed to watch the tennis on the iPad.
The storm took a while to clear with very heavy rain showers coming and going.
The lettuce and radish have already started to shoot. There’s one seedling in the wildflowers :)
