Deliciousness
Forecast was a bit rubbish to say the least so decided a good stomp was not the best option so headed off to Quince & Clover for a spot of brunch.
Incredibly delicious and actually managed to sit outside with just the odd spot of rain which was a bonus.
A wee wander round Chipping Norton followed which has got loads of lovely new shops since the last time I wandered there - including a brand new independent cinema which had literally opened last night; we will have to pay a visit to soon! And a perfectly timed timed return to the car just as the heavens opened!
Then decided as we were in the area we'd head onto Diddly Squat Farm Shop and see what all the fuss was about ...
There is a bit of carpark now so the road was relatively quiet but golly the number of people; the queue to get into the shop (which as far as we could see only stocked some beer and bread!) was enormous!! So an obligatory photo taken by the sign (extra), a quick hello to Olly who was there with some uni friends (having burgers and beer!) and then ran back to the car as the rain started again!
Off to Daylesford and again perfectly timed our entry and exit avoiding the rain; we're getting good at this!
Home to food prep, a quick wander to the allotment (which involved sheltering the greenhouse when the heavens opened!), gin cocktails and a delicious BBQ.; which of course was under the covered way as it was pouring down!
Perfect day all round .
And hurrah to avoiding getting soaked!!
