Bristol Harbour Festival
Not all the water was in the harbour, and after eating sandwiches in sideways rain to neo-punk rockers Lakedown and a cheeky pint in the Arnolfini, we stood in muddy Queens Square in the pouring rain to listen to Lady Nade, at the Bristol Harbour Festival. I last saw her, I think, about a dozen years ago, and her voice now is even more fantastic; beautifully bluesy and with a strong Bristle edge to it. All told, along with a decent 10km walk from the downs into the harbour and back (in the dry), a much better day today. :-)
