Dragon Coaster

Jill and I took a five-hour road trip to Rye, New York, to visit an amusement park that was new to us. Playland opened in 1928 and features this roller coaster, three others and several rides. It's a classic park that we enjoyed very much. It also has a Derby Racer carousel that goes 25 mph (40 kmh)! It's incredible!

We had a good time. My mind was mostly kept off my sadness until a friend texted me asking how I am. But it was still a great visit. I've now ridden 386 roller coasters.
