Lazy Sunday afternoon

Had a bit of a lie in and had a dog walk after breakfast.

Put a washing load on.  Weather looked promisingly dry.

Cleared the drive of hazels that the daft squirrels have been picking off and chucking on the ground.  Not quite so much crunching underfoot now.

Despite the wind butterflies were all round the buddleias.  A couple of weeks ago we only saw the white butterflies, speckled woods and little blues.  Today I saw a brimstone and a meadow brown.

Managed to get the hound to relax a bit in the garden.  He's always on the alert particularly with the gusty wind.

Rain forecast but still not materialised.
