…than I thought!  BroD’s house was hit by lightning yesterday, and started a fire under the floorboards at the oil boiler in the kitchen. Three fire appliances attended, and ripped out the boards from kitchen to lounge & put out the fire

They rented this place for a few years, then decided to buy it, the sale completed just on Weds - they hope the new insurance will pay!
