At Skeld, Shetland Isles — Wow! Shetland. After a tiring journey to get here, we’ve finally arrived and so far, we aren’t disappointed. First stop - wander around Lerwick (found where inspector Perez lives). Sumburgh Head next - scenery was stunning and once again, there were puffins! Next stop was Jarlshof - remains of an ancient settlement. Really interesting. Then the stunning St Ninians beach. Red throated diver and great northern diver spotted. Then to our accommodation - in the middle of nowhere - it’s qwirky and fabulous.
