Knaresborough

I spent the day alternately getting wet through and toasted, running up and down beneath Knaresborough Castle taking photos of soggy and sweaty orienteers.  Sue very kindly offered to put me up overnight so we drove to Harrogate at tea time to join a guided tour of the town centre by Harry from Harrogate who was immensely entertaining, then it was time for a couple of dozen orienteers to meet at the Old Bell for a meal in their upstairs room.  A full on day as part of the City Race Euro Tour, very enjoyable if tiring.  I managed to capture the iconic view from the Castle early doors before the deluge arrived.
