Touch of water.

You can’t see it in this picture, but when the weather is bright and clear, I can see the Cape Fear River in the distance. Almost where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. I have been drawn to the water all my life, and it gives me so much joy that I can even catch a sliver of water from my porch. I love that I live in a town that is surrounded by it. In 10 minutes I can walk to a dock on the Cape Fear that has a gorgeous view of the sunset. And in 15 minutes, I can drive to the beach and have my toes in the water. That makes me one happy lady.
