Summertime is fresh air time

In the car park outside the squash courts on Sunday morning, Andrei looks pleased that he has swapped his hard-top Porsche for an open-top Mercedes for summer. And Evgeny, in the leathers, has garaged his Mercedes and taken out the Harley-Davidson. Looking on is Richard, a senior English schoolmaster here (and the best squash player among us) and Anna, from the Ukraine, who is a near neighbour of mine in Khimki. Jan from Pretoria had already set off to get the seaweed for the salad he was going to make us for lunch shortly. Richard brougth a bottle of Bruichladdich. The seaweed seemed to go very well with the whisky from Loch Indaal
