The good, the bad and the ugly

That was today.

The good - a day off, thanks to Queen Elizabeth :) A lie in with near silence outside. Every morning should be like this morning :) Birds chirping, the sound of the a day at rest.

The bad - I didn't do very much at all in the garden, and I did even less of my marking.

The ugly - a small mishap with the washing machine created a mildly flooded laundry. It turned out not to be quite so bad as I initially thought but the clean-up was pretty ugly!

So there we have it - the end of the long weekend. Work tomorrow.
