Sheep shearing

A walk first thing with VW and her son, J, up onto Hampsfell.  I haven't been up for a while.  Just as we went through the gate to the fell we saw sheep shearing in progress.  There were lots of other sheep patiently waiting in a queue to be shorn.

The walk was needed and a lovely leg stretch after a good, but tiring weekend.  Glorious weather today.
