Butterfly anatomy

I’ve done a quick internet research and no, butterflies don’t have ears.
Antennae, proboscis, eyes, wings and legs, but no ears.

Two days ago both Nicoiseannie and I were in the garden complaining that the butterfly bush was a misnomer, as neither of us had seen any on our respective shrubs this year.

But, today, I give you a red admiral, in my garden, on the butterfly bush.
